Trivia: During the nine months period of the making of the film, Avelino 'El Rico' Lescot kept is body weight under control by ingesting a special diet from the island of Tahiti mainly composed from ‘Poison Cru’ (raw fish), taro and rice. Coming straight from El pistolero del diablo (2007) where he was 112 kilos he actually lost 18 kilos for the part of ‘Bobby Delgado’ on Among Dead Men. “Life on the wild side sometimes has its own way in regulating or instigating consciousness awakening on its most devoted disciple.
